Auto Region — How It Works (Plain English)

  • Automatic framework selection
    • EEA/UK visitors get GDPR/TCF v2.2.
    • United States visitors get IAB GPP (US-National v2 + applicable state sections).
    • Everyone else gets a GDPR-style category banner (safe default).
  • Default-deny: analytics/ads remain blocked until the visitor chooses.
  • Preferences panel: visitors can reopen the banner anytime (add a “Privacy settings” link that calls window.DWConsent.open()).
  • Global Privacy Control: respected automatically—if the browser sends GPC, we treat it as a rejection.
  • Receipts: every consent and update is recorded with a tamper-evident receipt for audit.
